For Mac · menu bar app

A to-do app for ongoing work.

You're never working on one thing. Weavr keeps every thread you're juggling in your menu bar, shows the step you're on, and hands you the next one when you press Next.

How a day with Weavr goes

One thread at a time, all day, without losing your place in any of them.

  1. Morning

    Start Day

Your brain dump opens. Empty your head, then Weavr puts you on your first thread.

  2. All day

    Next

Done with this stretch? Press ⌃⌥⌘N. The menu bar moves you to the next thread and its step.

  3. Now and then

    A to-do drops in

Quick tasks surface between threads. Scheduled ones arrive right on time.

  4. Not now

    Snooze

Set a thread aside. It comes back on its own, exactly when you said.

  5. Evening

    End Day

Weavr goes quiet until tomorrow. Everything is where you left it.

Everything a busy day needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Threads, not lists

Every thread keeps the step you're on and what comes next. Give one a priority and it comes back more often. Give it a color and the menu bar wears it.

The thread list with colors, priorities and next steps

To-dos, between threads

Short ones come up more often. Schedule one and it interrupts right on time, then hands you back.

The to-do list with time estimates and a daily schedule

A brain dump that carries over

One running page for everything on your mind. Link it to a Markdown file and edit it in Obsidian too.

The brain dump

Plan the next steps

Queue up what comes after. Next with New Task walks you down the list as you cycle.

Adding a thread with its next steps

Installing takes a minute

Weavr is sold independently, outside the Mac App Store, so macOS asks you to confirm it once.

  1. Open Weavr-1.0.dmg and drag Weavr into Applications.
  2. Open Weavr. When macOS says it can't verify the developer, click Done.
  3. In System Settings → Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway and confirm.
  4. Weavr appears in your menu bar with a short welcome.

Questions

Where is my data stored?

Only on your Mac. Weavr has no account and no cloud. The only things it sends over the internet are your license key when you activate or re-check it, and a daily check for a newer version.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Activating a license needs the internet once. After that Weavr checks in every few days when it happens to be online, and being offline never locks you out.

How many Macs can I use it on?

Two. Moving to a new Mac? Open Settings → License on the old one and click Deactivate this Mac, then enter your key on the new one. If the old Mac is gone, free it from your purchase page on Polar or email support@0null-labs.com.

What happens when the trial ends?

Next pauses until you enter a license key. Everything you wrote stays readable and editable.

Why does macOS warn me the first time?

Weavr is sold independently rather than through Apple's notarization program, so macOS asks you to confirm it once. The install steps walk through it.

Who handles the payment?

Polar, our reseller and merchant of record, handles payment, tax and invoices, and emails your license key. See the refund policy.
